Makom Shel Ahava is a privately run dog shelter in Ramat Gan. Ora Kababgian has opened her heart and her home to rescue dogs that have been abandoned – either on the streets or in municipal shelters.
At Makom Shel Ahava, the dogs are looked after with love and care, but our resources are very sparse. We are not under the aegis of any government or private organization, and all funds come from the pockets of our volunteers. For this reason, we are very grateful for any assistance, so that we may continue to rescue and care for dogs.
How can you help?
Volunteer: We need volunteers to help with the daily care
Make a donation. Donations, no matter how small, can be made to the account of Ora Kababgian at Bank Hapoalim, branch 657, account number 207519.
Help us purchase food. Food can be purchased for us directly from Beit Erez, which offers a discount to Ora. A 18-kg bag of dogs food costs 134 NIS. Please call their office on 03-9604607 or 03-9605573 . Specify that you are buying the food as a donation for Ora’s dogs.
Help us purchase supplies. Flea and tick sprays and ampoules, and other various items are necessary yet expensive. We appreciate any help. They are offered to us at a discount at Cohen & Sons. Call Shimon at 03-5332264, and specify that this is a donation for Ora.
